My most memorable Lees-McRe experience was my first bingo night with all my friends, where my friend won a TV for her room, and I was only 1 number from having bingo first. It was an awesome night because everyone somehow got so competitive over bingo and it was so much fun.

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

I chose Lees-McRae because of the location, wildlife program, and small community provided here at Lees McRae. I made my final decision to come to Lees McRae after I toured the campus for the first time, and it made me feel like I was at home and like I was important, which is something I had not felt that at any other schools I’d toured prior.

Favorite thing about Lees-McRae....

My favorite thing about Lees McRae is the small community. You always know someone anywhere on campus and I’ve always felt accepted and welcome here. Because of the small community I’ve been able to build close relationships and connections with both my peers and instructors, which makes me feel like I’m more than just another number here at Lees McRae.

My advice to students searching for a college...

Find somewhere that you feel like you belong. Always tour schools before your decision, because you may find that you enjoy a school a lot more than you think once you get there and feel the community and environment.
