Favorite thing to do in the area...

I absolutely adore Elk River Falls. It’s about 20 minutes from campus and it is a great spot for my friends and I to go swimming when it is warm. It is also beautiful.

Most memorable Lees-McRae experience...

My freshman year, it snowed a lot at once and we had classes canceled. My friends and I spent the entire day sledding and playing in the snow. There were at least 20 students on Tate Lawn just having a blast and it was a great day that I think about all the time, especially since it’s getting colder here.

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

When I went on my campus visit, I remember people coming up to my tour guide and our group and saying hi. I was instantly met with warmth and friendship from not only the admissions staff, but from current students.

Favorite thing about Lees-McRae....

I love how connected I feel to everyone on campus. It feels very tight knit and that’s what has allowed me to fourish as a student.
