Favorite thing to do in the area...

My two favorite things to do in the area is hike and visit the boba truck in boone. This boba truck hands down has the best boba I’ve ever had. As for hiking, there are so many beautiful trails, overlooks and waterfalls. One of my favorite hikes connects to the Appalachian Trail and the sights were truly like nothing i’ve ever seen.

Most memorable Lees-McRae experience...

My most memorable experience here at Lees McRae has been being apart of the Women’s soccer team. Everyone on the team is so incredibly supportive and I have really made some lasting friendships and memories.

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

I chose Lees McRae because of the immersive experience it offers in nature. I grew up on the beaches of Florida and I was looking for a completely different environment. Being here has allowed me to go out, hike, explore and see scenery that i am not accustomed to.

My advice to students searching for a college...

My advise would be to chose where you feel the most at home and comfortable.
