Favorite thing about Lees-McRae....

My favorite thing about Lees McRae is the small town community feel. I love how the town is intertwined almost with the college which allows the community to connect with student life. I love when the community hosts different events such as Wooly Worm Festival and the different art markets on Sundays. These events are always so fun to go to.

My advice to students searching for a college...

My advise would be to chose where you feel the most at home and comfortable.

Most memorable Lees-McRae experience...

My most memorable experience here at Lees McRae has been being apart of the Women’s soccer team. Everyone on the team is so incredibly supportive and I have really made some lasting friendships and memories.

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

I chose Lees McRae because of the immersive experience it offers in nature. I grew up on the beaches of Florida and I was looking for a completely different environment. Being here has allowed me to go out, hike, explore and see scenery that i am not accustomed to.
