My advice for someone looking for their perfect college would be to look for a place that you really fall in love with and can see yourself there long term!

I chose Lees McRae because of the small but beautiful campus environment. I find that it’s really nice that I’m able to have a close relationship with my teachers and fellow students.

Most memorable Lees-McRae experience...

So far, my most memorable experience would have to be teaching myself to play poker for a week in preparation for our schools casino night. I ended up being pretty good at it and I had a ton of fun that night!

Favorite thing to do in the area...

My favorite thing to do in the area would have to be going up on beech mountain and enjoying one of the beautiful hiking trails.
