Favorite thing about Lees-McRae....

The classes and the things you get to do in class are really interesting. A lot of my classes are hands-on and you learn a lot. I absolutely love working at the Rehab center and getting to work with all the animals, which is also something unique to Lees-McRae.

Favorite thing to do in the area...

I love going to Bible study on Thursdays, going running at Banner Elk Park, getting icecream at B.E. Scooped, and going hiking.

Most memorable Lees-McRae experience...

So far, my most memorable experience is getting to go electro-fishing in my field biology class.

My advice to students searching for a college...

Keep trying. College isn’t the end. Things you do in the future will depend on the choices you make now. Find things you’re passionate about and surround yourself with people and experiences.
