My favorite thing to do in the area is to get ice cream from BE Scooped and walk around the Banner Elk park.

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

I chose Lees-McRae initially for the cheerleading team and to be close to my grandparents in Boone, but stayed after falling in love with the small school atmosphere and the beautiful campus!
