Favorite thing to do in the area...

Hike and snowboard! The campus has so many trails and there are even more right at our doorstep, as well as the beech mountain ski and snowboard resort!

My advice to students searching for a college...

Choose the place that feels like home. It can be easy to get caught up in statistics and college information! I have found that what matters most of all is that I am going to school somewhere I feel like I belong.

Most memorable Lees-McRae experience...

Pie a professor day! During giving day all of my professors lined up to get pied by the students! It raised funds and was a great time!

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

The location. LMC not only had my intended majors, but also was located in the middle of several mountains that have allowed me to get outdoors and do what I love!
