My favorite thing to do in the area is attend campus activities with my friends. Campus events are always an incredibly fun experience, and that experience is elevated by being with others who share the love for our community.

Most memorable Lees-McRae experience...

My most memorable Lees-McRae experience was how the campus came together to deal with hurricane Helene. Seeing students, staff and essential workers come together as one to deal with a catastrophic event was an incredible thing to witness.

My advice to students searching for a college...

Choose an institution that caters to your specific academic needs. For example, if you’re looking for a school with a strong wildlife / vet program, Lees-McRae may be a great school for you. Something that may be just as important, is the atmosphere. For example, if you value natural beauty and the environment, Lees-McRae may also be a great choice for you.

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

I chose Lees-McRae because I felt welcomed, safe and always surrounded by beautiful natural features. I also decided to attend Lees-McRae because of our track program that has helped me achieve goals that I am extremely proud of.
