Favorite thing about Lees-McRae....

My favorite thing is the ability to be involved in a variety of things. Because it is a small school, I can be part of multiple clubs, have leadership roles, and be part of a sports team. I have made numerous impactful relationships through each avenue.

My advice to students searching for a college...

Choose a college that fits your personality. If you are outgoing, make sure there are social events you can go to. If you are outdoorsy, make sure you can go hiking. The surrounding area is almost as important as the college itself and you want to ensure that you will make good use of your time outside of the classroom over the next four years.

Favorite thing to do in the area...

I'm not a cyclist, but I love to ride my bike around town and venture along the curvy roads to elevated regions with unbelievable views (most are still available by car).

Why I chose Lees-McRae...

I chose this school because of the small atmosphere, rehabilitation center, location, and how important the admissions people made me feel from the very beginning.
