Go skiing at Beech Mountain in the winter, and going to swimming holes in the summer with friends.

I chose Lees-McRae because of the Wilderness Medicine and Rescue program, and to be on the swim team!

I love being at a small school that is a tight knit community! It is super easy to find great people with the same interests as you here.

My advice to students searching for a college...

Tour both big and small schools to get a feel of what learning environment is best for you. pick a school with lots of major options that you like incase you change your mind.
